Dr. Garfield Browne

Our speaker this Sabbath is, Dr. Garfield Browne.

Dr. Garfield Browne hails from the twin-island nation of Antigua and Barbuda. At the age of 12, he began studying Scripture. Two years later, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. In 2001, he resigned from his job as an Assistant Bank Manager and moved with his family to Oakwood College. There he graduated with a BA in Ministerial Theology; followed by a Masters of Divinity and doctorate in Health Sciences.

In 2018, Dr. Browne, accepted a position as a Chaplain here at LLUH. He is an ordained SDA Minister and teaches contractually at Loma Linda University. He holds a professorship at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Browne and his beautiful wife, Dr. Denise Browne have been married for almost 29 years. Together they have four adult children (Gen, Cece, Chaz, and Cherie).
