Are you a new first-year medical or dental student at LLU this year? Advent HOPE, LLUC's Sabbath School Ministry for students, welcomes you with a free Greek dinner! Come spread the love of Jesus to the patients at the Loma Linda University Medical Center and Children's Hospital. Meet at 7:00 pm in the main lobby of the medical center.

Come enjoy our weekly vegetarian potluck with your Advent HOPE friends! For regular AH attendees, please bring enough food to serve at least 12 of your fellow potluckers. Thank you!

Join us this Sabbath afternoon for an outreach activity of door knocking in San Bernardino. We will be meeting at 3:00 pm at the Drayson Center.

Women of the Word: A great opportunity for women of all ages! Come to explore Biblical counsel for women through study and discussion of the Word. Join us the second Tuesday of every month. Women of the Word Picnic: Join us for a picnic at Meadow's Edge Picnic Area (north side of Big Bear Lake) on Sunday, September 12, 2010 (10 am-2 pm). Everyone is invited! What to bring: Your favorite picnic potluck food, forest adventure pass, bikes, rollerblades, binoculars, blankets, chairs, etc. Come prepared to enjoy a walk by the lake. Directions: From Loma Linda, take 10E toward Redlands, exit University and turn left under the freeway. Turn right onto Lugonia which becomes Highway 38. Follow road to Big Bear Lake. Turn left when you see the sign to Meadow's Edge and then another left into the picnic area.
December 29, 2010 - January 2, 2011 - Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC) - "No Turning Back": Registration is now open! Thousands of young people from around the world will gather in Baltimore, MD for the 9th annual GYC conference - four days packed with spirit-filled messages, inspiring Bible study, fervent prayer, solemn worship and awesome fellowship. C.A.R.E. groups are looking for YOU to join their small Bible study group! Come feast on the Word and perhaps a little food. Groups meet Sunday-Friday evenings. Why wait any longer to join friends in the faith, encouraging & praying for one another, memorizing scripture together, and building a better foundation in your walk with God?
